The Whaleback plain cotton Oxford shirt unites timeless charm with Sebago's unmistakable DNA. The button-down style was originally born on the polo field in the late 1800s, going on to become a style icon amongst American college students, British mods and VIP films stars. Sebago presents this elegant iteration with a pocket on the chest, darts on the sleeve and a characteristic rear hanging loop. Embellished with a logo tag on the inner placket. It takes its name from the Whaleback Lighthouse, a historic light tower marking the mouth of the Piscataqua River in Kittery, Maine (USA), built in 1872 and listed on the American National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
