SEBAGO ROWING CUP

Second Edition

September 18–19, 2026 - Turin

On the banks of the River Po, Turin hosted the second edition of the Sebago Rowing Cup, bringing to the city the timeless charm and tradition of American college rowing.

Sporting elegance, team spirit and collegiate style

paid homage to the Ivy League and preppy ethos that has long inspired Sebago. On Friday, 18 September, the event opened at the Sebago store in Turin with the official presentation of the nine participating teams and the draw that determined the match-ups for the different rounds. A moment of coming together that built anticipation and set the stage for the following day’s races.

The following day, Saturday, 19 September, the crowds gathered along the banks of the River Po were able to experience the spirit of the Sebago Rowing Cup at Sebago Village, the hospitality area overlooking the historic Murazzi and open to guests throughout the competition. Food trucks celebrated the flavours of American culinary tradition, accompanying the day through to the awards and closing ceremony at River Center, where the competition came to an end in a spirit of fair play and conviviality.

The arrival of Sebago’s iconic deck shoe boat on the Po also symbolically marked the culmination of the celebrations for the brand’s 80th anniversary. The centrepiece of the Sebago Boat Tour, the craft travelled across Italy and Europe throughout the anniversary year. Its return to Turin – its adopted home – marked the final stop of a journey through places, waters and communities, bringing once again together the heritage of the New England shores with the city and the people who continue to embody Sebago’s values today.
