Perfect companion for the harsher climates, this cap is made with heavy knitted 100% Cotton in classic nautical style fisherman’s rib stitch, and bears a personalised Sebago Docksides flag. The cap is a perfect reconstruction of the typical head gear worn while "standing watch" on a ship or guard post, and commonly referred to as "watch cap" by members of the United States military. Though its clear link to the caps worn by Navy crews during World War II, its historical roots seem to date back all the way to ancient Greeks and Romans.
