MDOT | SAN FRANCISCO
Raised in a family business, Mdot spent her younger years learning hands on how a business operates. These experiences were the root of her passion and drive to make things happen. Her motto is hard work always pays off. After studying I-D & furniture design, Mdot entered the footwear world with very little experience about creating footwear and the market. She spent 6 years co-directing JB Classics, an independent footwear brand. Involved in the day to day of building a brand was the experience that brought her to the next stage in her career. In 2008, she founded Booji, footwear & accessories brand. Keeping the momentum with creating and building a brand. Having a strong passion to make products lead Mdot to branch out, working with other brands in different industries. Relationships like these sparked her to curate an all female influencers project with Sebago for AW12. The project includes 5 females from around the globe brought together to bring their styles and taste to the market from a female prospective. www.boojihouse.com
MAYRA FATEH | BERLIN
As a kid from German parents, Mayra was born on the beautiful island of Ibiza in the good old hippie days. Traveling the world since she was a little girl, she spent 5 years studying Fashion Marketing & Communication in Barcelona. Four years ago she moved to Berlin, the focus being her new job within the sales department of fashion tradeshow Bread & Butter. This is where Mayra met Michal and Michal met Mayra. A tag team which would become a "married couple", to then start blogging as the only exclusive female blog on ArtSchoolVets in 2009. Experiencing an amazing feedback they decided to create a female online collective carrying the name ‘eVe without adam' in February 2010. An online magazine about fashion, arts, music and everything they would find interesting, a blog community of 25 female bloggers and special collaborations solely led by women, would become what they would call "baby". With Mayra's addiction for writing and everything technological, she is the perfect counterpart of the socializing and finance pro Michal. As a fan of perfection, love, friends, sunshine and seeing the bigger picture, she is what we can call the new generation of flower children living in a contemporary revolution of the female society. www.evewithoutadam.net
MICHAL TESLER | BERLIN
Born in Israel in 1984 with parents of Russian heritage, they migrated to Europe when Michal was 11 months. Berlin became her hometown. Raised with 4 different languages as a West (Berlin) Jewish kid, she moved to the East after high school. Michal had jobs from sales in a small sneaker-shop to a cool undercover club in which socializing became a must. A year later she studied Media & Music Management, keeping the momentum, working and creating contacts in the ultra hip Mitte district of Berlin. When graduating in 2007, she immediately started working for the fashion tradeshow Bread & Butter, & now she is Product Manager of the Sport & Street area of the show. In 2008 Mayra joined the BBB family and became her second half. Together they started blogging without really knowing what that was all about, but recognized that they actually had a large following. Both having the thought of a female network, they started having the initial ideas of eVe in 2009. One year later on February 17th, 2010, they launched online together, with a one night exhibition in a beautiful gallery on Torstasse—one of the current street-art centers of Berlin. To date, they have worked with numerous female artists creating content with and for eVe, on several bigger projects with various brands and artists. www.evewithoutadam.net
