After doing a lot of research, I chose to purchase a pair of the Horween Docksides as my first pair of boat shoes. I could not be happier! The mustard color really stands out, in a good way from other boat shoes out there. The Horween leather is supple out of the box, and the construction of the shoes seems top notch. Thanks Sebago! Already looking forward to another pair!

I've been wearing Docksides since the 1970's and, while I love the basic brown, and the fact that the leather is sturdier than the "competition," takes a "wetting" better, and is iconic, I really enjoyed getting my first pair of suede (tan) Docksides last year along with a pair of what was supposed to be "green" ones. The green ones disappeared, alas, so when I got the email about the Horween's green, which appeared "greener" I jumped. I admit that I also snagged a pair of blue ones. MAN ARE THEY GREAT! The leather is a great cross between the sturdy traditional Docksides leather and a soft and supple higher-end leather. Unlike other products, the dye appears to be through the leather, not just a coating, which means longevity. The colors are amazing. I did snag a pair of reds later and, again, wonderful. I also bit at the laces. Go figure. So far, several weeks later, I am VERY pleased and look forward to more COLORS!

My husband loves this shoes! They fit great and are very comfortable! I will be purchasing him another pair in a different color!
