I don't normally write these things but after being in a heavy downpour all day, I feel compelled. These shoes are fantastic. Today I went sockless, but still my feet stayed dry all day from walking about; we're talking puddles, sideways rain, flooded gullies, the works. I didn't slip or slide and the laces didn't come loose (I wear the regular pair since ribbons aren't my thing). These are my go-to wet weather shoes. They're TTS and comfortable straight out of the box. The deep brown color is getting nicely seasoned by the weather. Even for a menswear inspired shoe, these are pretty girlie but I can overlook that since I don't have a wet behind from slipping or soaked feet. Seriously, people... get these.

These shoes are one of the most beautiful things I own. They fit perfect to my normal dress shoe size, and each of my coworkers and friends have commented on how outstanding they look.

Thank you for the awesome review and feedback of these cute and stylish Claremont Brogue's. Dry feet after walking in the rain, through puddles, and the works is pretty impressive. Although, these are made with a rich nubuck and full grain leather they do not have a waterproofing membrane so are not going to be waterproof.
