I originally purchased the Bala from Sebago and decided to get the Beacon as well. While, I don't like it as much as Bala, it is still a good shoe. I'm sure this fall I'll get lots of use out of it. The sizing is perfect, and I love the navy/fuschia colors.

I really liked the boots in the picture but when I received my order I was a little disappointed. The picture seems to have bright pink accents but in actuality were more of a dull red. The boots appeared to be well made but they didn't seem to be as bright and vibrant as the picture. The color was duller and the overall boot was just not as I had expected. It might wear down soft but it was not from out of the box. I ended up returning them. I expected more of a comfy boot that I could just go-to for everyday but it had a vibrant "fun" look when it was on. These, even for the sale price just weren't it.
