I'll never go to any other brand after finding Spinnakers, I loved them and wore them whenever I could, comfortable, good fit, stylish, loved the colours. But... About a year and a bit into wearing them the seams on the front near the lace layer began to deteriorate and eventually tore open. The polished leather surface also lost its quality, which was a bit disappointing. You'd also find more stylish and interesting colour variations on other independent sites as for some reason the Sebago site only shows about half of what is available out there. Still, best boat shoe in the world, and most comfortable loafer.

I too have had problems with the Spinnaker. I have had a number of pairs of Sebagos over the years - including the wonderful Endeavours - but my pair of new Navy/Red W Spinnaker are the most uncomfortable and difficult to 'break in' shoes I have ever bought. After a week my feet were crying out 'No more, please no more.' I have polished and the nurtured the 'leather' ( I'm not sure that it is leather as the tongue piece seems to be a bonding on a number of different materials) but it is still totally unyielding. Worst £100 I have spent recently.
