The World Billfish Series (WBS) is dedicated to promoting a lifestyle committed to sportsmanship, healthy competition and marine conservation through "The World's Richest Bluewater Fishing Events." The WBS works to promote the virtues of true sportsmanship and global marine conservation as ambassadors of big game fishing.

The Southern Kingfish Association hosted more than 40,000 anglers last year, participated in over 50 events from the Outer Banks of the Carolinas through Texas.

The Loose Lucy Fishing Team is comprised by Captain Mike Kaminsky, Top Lady Anger Susan Kaminsky, and brothers Jimmy and Gary Stecki. The team has been competing on the Professional Kingfish circuit since 1996 and hails from Charleston SC, where Captain Mike is a Coast Guard certified charter captain. They have qualified to fish Nationals every year, as well as finished in the top 5, in the Pro Division, South Carolina, South Florida, West Coast Florida, and North Carolina/Hatteras in numerous years.
