Sebago-Moc Company sales reaches $1,000,000.
1952
Steady growth to 2,000 pairs a day requires a new factory to keep up with demand. Construction begins on a plant in Westbrook, Maine.

Sebago produces its one millionth pair of shoes.
1962
Sebago wins the “Sears Award for Excellence”.
1963
Bridgton, Maine plant is built to produce women's penny loafers.
1969
Jolly Rogers, women's handsewn loafers, debuts.

Global launch of Docksides® by Sebago.

Sebago machine sewn casuals, Jesse Janes, launch; Muk Luk's shearling lined boots, featured in catalog.

Ted Turner, a premier businessman and yachtsman, poses for a painting that's included in Sebago's poster series.

The basic brown Dockside® is a huge fashion trend that hit universities and high schools across the country.

Sebago becomes the first U.S. company to sponsor a boat in the O-Star race.

Sebago sponsors the Celebrity Regatta, Liberty Cup, New York Harbor.
1987
First company to sponsor the Newport to Bermuda multihull race, hence called the Sebago Multihull Challenge '87; '87 and '88 co-sponsored the Liberty Cup, New York Harbor.

Official supplier of Yachting Footwear to the U.S. Sailing Team; title sponsor of Phil Steggal in the C-Star transatlantic race.

Sponsors the America's Cup contender “Defender.”

Sebago Drysides launches in the Fall catalog.

Sponsors America 3, the first all-women's syndicate (an America's Cup contender).

Sponsors Young America, (Pact 95) the New York Yacht Club cyndicate challenger in the Louis Vuitton Cup.

Sebago themed campaign, Maine in America debuts.
2004
The Sebago of today is still selling its classic styles and ever-popular boat shoes in more than 80 countries. Forging a new partnership with a global leader, Sebago found a home as part of Wolverine World Wide, Inc.
The Sebago tradition of quality and performance continues with new categories introductions - Casual Marine and Performance Marine.
2005
Sebago becomes part of The Outdoor Group, Wolverine World Wide's division which includes Merrell Footwear and Patagonia-licensed footwear.
2007
Sebago announces the sponsorship of the World Billfish Series, Southern Kingfish Association, Ladies Let's Go Fishing and the Loose Lucy Fishing Team.
